With a tensile strength of about 620 MPa, yield strength of 300 MPa, and elongation of 30–40%, it provides exceptional corrosion resistance, especially against sulphuric acid. Alloy 20 is perfect for highly corrosive chemical environments because it resists intergranular corrosion, has good weldability and formability, and maintains good mechanical properties at room temperature and elevated temperatures.
