Alloy 20 is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy that is stabilised with niobium and contains roughly 32–38% nickel, 19–21% chromium, 2–3% molybdenum, and 3–4% copper. With a tensile strength of about 620 MPa, a yield strength of 300 MPa, and an elongation of 30–40%, alloy 20 steel angles provide exceptional corrosion resistance, especially in sulphuric acid environments. These angles are appropriate for structural applications exposed to extremely corrosive or acidic environments because they retain good ductility, toughness, and weldability over a broad temperature range.
