Carbon Steel EN19 Sheets and Plates are chromium, molybdenum, and manganese alloyed. Composition is common for 0.35–0.45% Carbon, 0.70–1.00% Manganese, 0.15–0.35% Molybdenum, and 0.90–1.50% Chromium. EN19 plates have high tensile strength (850–1000 MPa), yield strength of approximately 680 MPa, and high toughness. The Brinell hardness of 248–302 makes them have good wear resistance and fatigue strength. EN19 has good machinability in normalized or tempered state, which is the reason it is widely used in harsh mechanical applications.
