70/30 copper nickel About 70% copper and 30% nickel make up foil, with trace amounts of iron and manganese added for strength and corrosion resistance. This alloy is non-magnetic and provides outstanding mechanical stability. It has an elongation of 30–45%, a yield strength of 105–150 MPa, and a tensile strength of approximately 310–370 MPa. At high temperatures, the foil retains its mechanical qualities and shows exceptional resistance to corrosion from seawater and biofouling. It is perfect for precise applications in corrosive and harsh environments because of its ductility and formability.
