Grade Mar M247 Sheets and Plates are nickel-based superalloys containing predominantly nickel along with considerable amounts of chromium, cobalt, molybdenum, aluminum, titanium, and tantalum. The presence of these alloying elements enhances the material’s high-temperature strength, corrosion resistance, and oxidation resistance. The material has tensile strength in excess of 1000 MPa, high fatigue strength, and superior creep resistance.
