Hastelloy C22 Circle is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy that has a general composition of nickel (≈56%), chromium (20–22.5%), molybdenum (12.5–14.5%), iron (2–6%), tungsten (2.5–3.5%), and trace elements. It has very good mechanical properties, with tensile strength of about 690 MPa and yield strength of about 283 MPa. The alloy exhibits exceptional resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking in oxidizing and reducing environments. Hastelloy C22 also shows performance under high temperature and aggressive chemical exposures.
