Hastelloy C22 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy containing added iron and tungsten. Common composition consists of about 56% Ni, 22% Cr, 13% Mo, 3% W, and minor amounts of Fe, Co, and others. This alloy possesses superior mechanical properties with tensile strength of approximately 690 MPa, yield strength of 283 MPa, and elongation of 45%.
