Nickel (about 47%), chromium (21.5%), iron (18%), molybdenum (9%), and trace amounts of cobalt and tungsten make up Hastelloy X. Tensile strength up to 870 MPa, yield strength approximately 355 MPa, and good elongation (~30%) are examples of mechanical properties. The alloy has outstanding creep resistance and weldability under stress.
