Haynes 25 / L605 foil is a cobalt superalloy consisting mainly of about 55% cobalt, 20% chromium, 10% nickel, 15% tungsten, and traces of iron, manganese, carbon, and others. Such an unusual composition gives it high mechanical properties like high tensile strength, great creep resistance, and excellent corrosion and oxidation resistance at high temperatures. It has structural integrity under harsh conditions, giving it high-performance applications where durability and endurance are important.
