Incoloy 800 series primarily comprises nickel (30-35%), iron (bal.), and chromium (19-23%), with minor amounts of manganese, carbon, and aluminum. Incoloy 800H and 800HT variants have slightly higher carbon content for enhanced high-temperature strength. These tubes have outstanding mechanical properties such as tensile strength between 75,000 to 90,000 psi and yield strength about 30,000 to 50,000 psi with very good resistance to oxidation and carburization. The material is resistant to loss of strength and toughness even at high temperatures, so it is suitable for applications involving high temperatures.
