Inconel 601 Coils consist of nickel (58–63%), chromium (21–25%), and iron (balance), and minor additions of aluminum (1–1.7%) that provide oxidation resistance. The alloy has good mechanical strength, with tensile strength approximately 650 MPa and yield strength approximately 300 MPa. It is resistant to stability and mechanical integrity at high temperatures up to 1200°C. Inconel 601 also provides excellent resistance to oxidation, carburization, and thermal cycling and is appropriate for use in continuous high-heat and chemical exposure applications.
