About 58% nickel, 27%–31% chromium, and up to 9% iron make up the majority of Inconel 690 Sheets and Plates, with trace amounts of silicon, manganese, and other elements. Excellent resistance to oxidising substances and environments is provided by this high chromium content. The alloy has an elongation of 30–40%, a yield strength of about 275 MPa, and a tensile strength of about 414 MPa.
