Inconel 718 Angle consists mainly of nickel (50–55%), chromium (17–21%), iron (balance), niobium (4.75–5.5%), molybdenum (2.8–3.3%), and trace amounts of titanium and aluminum. It has great mechanical strength, and its tensile strength is up to 1,400 MPa and yield strength is about 1,100 MPa. Inconel 718 has the property of age hardening and has good mechanical properties at high temperatures of up to 700°C. It has high fatigue resistance, stress corrosion cracking resistance, and good weldability, thus being best suited for applications in high-stress conditions and where load is critical.
