Inconel 925 is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy with molybdenum, copper, titanium, and aluminum additions that possess good corrosion resistance and high strength. Inconel 926 has additional higher molybdenum and nitrogen for better pitting and crevice corrosion resistance. Both alloys exhibit high tensile strength, yield strength, and hardness, with good resistance to chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking. Inconel 925 usually possesses a tensile strength of 760 MPa, whereas Inconel 926 has an approximately 690 MPa tensile strength.
