Iron-nickel alloys comprising mainly 18–19% nickel, cobalt, molybdenum, titanium, and aluminium make up Maraging Steel 250/300/350 Sheets and Plates. Instead of carbon hardening, these steels undergo ageing treatment to achieve ultra-high strength. The yield strengths of Maraging 250 are typically approximately 1725 MPa, 300 ~2065 MPa, and 350 ~2410 MPa. Despite their strength, they maintain good weldability, minimal distortion after heat treatment, and outstanding ductility and toughness. Because of these properties, maraging steels are perfect for precision parts that are subjected to high levels of stress and fatigue.
