Nickel Alloy 201 circles have about 99.6% pure nickel along with a carbon content not exceeding 0.02%, which strengthens resistance to graphitization and high-temperature corrosion. These circles have a tensile strength of approximately 40–65 ksi, yield strength of 15–25 ksi, and elongation of about 40–50%, with superb ductility and toughness under a wide range of temperatures. Nickel 201 is non-magnetic in nature, is very formable, and possesses superb thermal and electric conductivity. It possesses caustic alkali and neutral salt resistance that makes it superior for operation in hostile chemical environments and high-purity processes, where material stability and longevity are paramount.
