Nickel Alloy 201 plates and sheets consist of 99.6% pure nickel with a limit of 0.02% carbon, which provides better resistance against intergranular attack at elevated temperatures than Nickel 200. They have a tensile strength of 40–65 ksi, yield strength of 15–25 ksi, and elongation of 40–50%, providing good ductility and toughness.
