Stainless Steel 305 Channel is an austenitic chromium-nickel alloy designed to offer better performance in cold working. It has a typical composition of 17–19% Chromium and 10.5–13% Nickel, with a low carbon content (up to 0.12%) to minimize work hardening during fabrication. The mechanical properties of the alloy are a tensile strength of around 586 MPa and yield strength of about 241 MPa. It possesses good elongation, good corrosion resistance, and high ductility and is thus suitable for usage in applications involving heavy cold forming. The Stainless Steel 305 exhibits toughness at a wide range of temperatures and ensures consistent performance under harsh industrial environments.
