Stainless Steel 310 Channel is an Austenitic stainless steel alloy with the following composition: Chromium (24–26%), Nickel (19–22%), Manganese (≤2%), Silicon (≤1.5%), Carbon (≤0.25%), with the balance of Iron. This composition allows for exceptional resistance to scaling and oxidation at temperatures up to 1100°C. The alloy has a tensile strength of around 515 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and elongation of 40% and has very good toughness even at cryogenic temperatures. Its high nickel and chromium content provides good corrosion resistance and thermal stability, and therefore SS 310 Channel is a trustworthy option for structural applications that are exposed to severe heat and thermal cycling.
