Stainless Steel 310S Channel is a low-carbon version of SS 310 with enhanced weldability and less chance of carbide precipitation when exposed to high temperatures. It has a chemical makeup of Chromium (24–26%), Nickel (19–22%), Carbon (≤0.08%), Manganese (≤2%), Silicon (≤1.5%), and balance Iron. It provides tensile strength of nearly 515 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and elongation of 40%. With improved resistance to oxidation and sulfidation up to 1100°C, SS 310S finds its perfect application in high-heat conditions where strength, corrosion protection, and structural stability are paramount for long-term service lives.
