Stainless Steel 316Ti is titanium-stabilized 316 that contains 16–18% Chromium, 10–14% Nickel, 2–3% Molybdenum, and a small amount of Titanium (~0.5%). The addition of titanium provides resistance to sensitization under weld or extended high-temperature conditions. SS 316Ti possesses a tensile strength of some 515–690 MPa, good pitting and crevice corrosion resistance, and maintains mechanical strength at high temperatures. It is non-magnetic in the annealed state and can be used for both forming and fabrication in hostile environments.
