Stainless Steel 347 Foils are stabilized austenitic stainless steels with major alloying components such as Chromium (17–20%), Nickel (9–13%), and Columbium (Nb) to withstand intergranular corrosion. They also have trace elements like Manganese, Silicon, and Carbon. They have very good mechanical properties with tensile strength of approximately 515 MPa, yield strength of about 205 MPa, and elongation of at least 40%. With a hardness of approximately 217 Brinell, they are resistant to high-temperature strength and are appropriate for service at elevated temperatures. They have a composition that is resistant to oxidation and remains durable even under long-term stress.
