Stainless Steel 348H Angle is an austenitic stabilized stainless steel alloy with a major composition of carbon (0.04–0.10%), chromium (17–19%), nickel (9–13%), niobium, and trace elements. It has good high-temperature strength and resistance to intergranular corrosion. Mechanically, it has tensile strength of 550 MPa (min), yield strength of 220 MPa (min), and elongation of 35%. It has good ductility and toughness, even at high temperatures, thus well suited for pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and stress-bearing industrial parts.
