SS 420 provides the mechanical properties of tensile strength of 655-850 MPa, yield strength of approximately 345 MPa, and hardness of up to 500 HB when hardened. It has good resistance to corrosion in mild environments and high wear resistance. SS 420 Angles are ferromagnetic and may be hardened through heat treatment and, therefore, can be used for stress-filled applications.
