Super Duplex Steel S32760 rings are manufactured using a highly alloyed stainless steel grade comprising around 24–26% Chromium, 6–8% Nickel, 3–4% Molybdenum, 0.2–0.3% Nitrogen, and supplemented Tungsten for superior corrosion resistance. These circles show very good mechanical properties with minimum tensile strength of 800 MPa, yield strength of 550 MPa, and elongation of 15%. The duplex microstructure of the alloy shows great resistance to stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion due to its suitability for aggressive environments with chlorides and high mechanical stress.
