About 90% titanium, 6% aluminium, and 4% vanadium make up Titanium Grade 5 Angles, also referred to as Ti-6Al-4V. This alloy offers a great mix of light weight, corrosion resistance, and strength. It is substantially stronger than commercially available pure titanium due to its mechanical characteristics, which include a tensile strength of approximately 895 MPa, a yield strength of 828 MPa, and an elongation of approximately 10–14%. Titanium Grade 5 is perfect for demanding, high-stress situations where strength and corrosion resistance are crucial because it also has good fatigue resistance and thermal stability.
