About 90% titanium, 6% aluminium, and 4% vanadium are present in Titanium Grade 5 Coil/Slitting Coil, also referred to as Ti-6Al-4V. This alloy provides a great mix of corrosion resistance, strength, and light weight. It has outstanding fatigue resistance, a yield strength of 880 MPa, and a tensile strength of about 950 MPa. With a hardness of 36 HRC and an elongation of roughly 14%, the material exhibits good ductility. Titanium Grade 5 is the most widely used titanium alloy in the world because it has outstanding weldability and maintains its strength even at high temperatures.
